Tafapolsky & Smith employs a secure case management database to ensure the most effective and efficient preparation and tracking of our clients' cases. The database system has two primary functions to facilitate case management: the calendaring of tasks and the creation of status reports.

TASK CALENDARING
Our database management system facilitates the efficient handling of multiple projects, deadlines for filings, intermediate steps in case preparation and case tracking until the approval of a petition or application. Because of the specificity with which our database can track and calendar tasks for our cases, clients can confidently anticipate the timing involved for the preparation, filing, tracking and management of their case work.

Our database also allows our staff to efficiently manage these projects, ensuring that no unnecessary delays in preparation will occur.

REPORTS
Our database management system further permits the creation of several different types of reports, giving our clients up-to-the-minute information about the status of cases in preparation or pending adjudication. This information is available online, 24 hours a day.

Each client with web-enabled database access will receive a unique user name and password with which they may access their account information.

PROJECT STATUS
The Project Status Report screen conveniently displays a listing of petitions or applications currently being prepared for the client. This listing also includes information regarding the current activity for the case. Such information promotes the efficiency and expediency of document transmittals from our offices to our clients and back. When an application or petition is filed, the date of filing will be displayed. Upon the issuance of a receipt notice for the filing by the INS, the receipt number will be inputted and displayed in this report.
