Jennifer Riddle represents corporate clients before the U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of Labor, and Department of State in securing temporary visas and permanent residence for their employees.

Prior to joining Tafapolsky & Smith, Ms. Riddle practiced immigration law at Berry, Appleman & Leiden LLP, where she specialized in matters involving the processing of permanent resident applications, including labor certification applications, immigrant visa petitions and adjustment of status applications. Before that, she was an associate at Thelen, Reid & Priest LLP, practicing complex business litigation.

During law school, Ms. Riddle worked as a law clerk with the San Francisco Immigration Court and with the ACLU Immigrants' Rights Project in Oakland. Before attending law school, Ms. Riddle worked on refugee resettlement projects as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kyrgyzstan from 1997 to 1999.

Ms. Riddle earned her J.D. from the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall School of Law) in 2003 and her B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University in 1997. Ms. Riddle is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and is licensed to practice law in California and Washington, D.C. She speaks Russian, French, Spanish, and Kyrgyz.
